1. Purpose of the Service

ShortsFREE is a software service that helps users manage YouTube Shorts viewing time and manage focus and productivity.

The Service may include the following features:

Specific features may change depending on updates, the operating environment, or the product configuration.

2. Accounts

Some ShortsFREE features may require a user account.

Users are responsible for appropriately managing their account and login information.

Users must not sell their account or transfer Service access to another person through unauthorized means.

3. Device Registration

A ShortsFREE account currently supports registration of up to two devices.

Device-registration policies may change based on Service operations, security, or product policies. Important changes may be communicated through appropriate methods.

4. Plans and Pricing

ShortsFREE offers recurring subscription plans.

Current plans:

Monthly — $3.49 per month · monthly recurring subscription

Annual — $34.99 per year · annual recurring subscription

5. Recurring Subscriptions

Monthly renews automatically each month, and Annual renews automatically each year as recurring subscription products.

Users may cancel before the next payment. Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal, while the already-paid period remains available until the end of the current billing period.

Users may undo a cancellation before the current billing period ends. Cancellation does not automatically refund a completed payment.

If a recurring payment renewal fails, access may be suspended and ShortsFREE may retry the payment under its stated retry policy. If a retry succeeds, access may be restored; after a final failure, no further automatic retries are made.

6. Software License

Purchasing or using ShortsFREE grants a limited, non-exclusive right to use the Service and software in accordance with these Terms.

Rights in programs, designs, brands, logos, source code, and other content related to ShortsFREE belong to the relevant rights holders.

Except where permitted by applicable law, users must not reproduce, resell, redistribute, or commercially use the Service without authorization.

7. Prohibited Uses

• Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of the Service
• Circumventing authentication or access rights by unauthorized means
• Using another person's account or access rights without permission
• Using the Service for illegal purposes
• Creating excessive load on the Service or its servers
• Selling or redistributing the Service or software without authorization

8. Shorts Guard Operating Conditions

Shorts Guard operates together with the ShortsFREE desktop app and a supported browser extension.

The ShortsFREE desktop app must be running to use real-time Shorts-limit notifications and blocking.

The browser extension may still record Shorts usage while the desktop app is closed. When the app is opened later, supported records may be added and reflected.

Displayed usage time and synchronization may temporarily differ depending on the currently running browser, network status, and the connection between the desktop app and extension.

9. Compatibility

ShortsFREE currently targets Windows and macOS, together with supported browsers such as Chrome, Edge, Safari, and Firefox.

Changes to an operating system, browser, YouTube, or another external service may change how some features work or temporarily limit them.

ShortsFREE may provide updates needed to maintain Service quality and compatibility.

10. Changes and Availability of the Service

ShortsFREE may change parts of the Service due to improvements, security enhancements, technical changes, changes to external platforms, or operational needs.

All or part of the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, outages, network problems, changes to external services, or other unavoidable circumstances.

When a change materially affects users, ShortsFREE may provide notice through the website or the Service where reasonably possible.

11. Third-Party Services

ShortsFREE may use third-party service providers for authentication, Cloud Sync, payments, or other Service functions.

Use of a third-party service may also be subject to that provider's terms of service and privacy policy.

An outage, policy change, or discontinuation of an external service may affect some ShortsFREE features.

12. Privacy

The processing of personal information and Service-use data is governed by the ShortsFREE Privacy Policy.

13. Refunds and Payment Cancellations

Refunds, payment cancellations, and related conditions for purchased products are governed by the separate ShortsFREE Refund Policy.

The Refund Policy explains standards relating to statutory withdrawal, digital Service delivery, subscription cancellation, and payment failures.

14. Restrictions on Use

If a user materially violates these Terms or threatens the safety of the Service, other users, or normal Service operations, ShortsFREE may restrict Service use to the extent necessary.

Where possible, ShortsFREE may inform the user of the reason for the restriction and any required action.

15. Warranty and Limitation of Responsibility

ShortsFREE is a tool intended to help users manage Shorts usage, focus, and productivity.

The Service aims to provide normal functionality to the extent technically possible, but does not guarantee a particular focus result, productivity improvement, reduction in Shorts use, or any other specific outcome.

Some features may also work differently than expected due to changes to operating systems, browsers, YouTube or other external services, network conditions, or the user's device environment.

ShortsFREE's responsibility applies to the extent permitted by applicable law. Any responsibility that cannot be limited or excluded under law is not subject to that limitation.

16. Changes to These Terms

ShortsFREE may change these Terms in response to changes in Service features, product structure, applicable law, or operating policies.

When a change materially affects users, ShortsFREE may provide notice through the website or the Service.

17. Applicable Rules

Matters not addressed in these Terms are governed by applicable law and general principles of transactions that apply to the Service.
